Dr. Kristina Hulen is the Vice President of Medical Direction at Bloom Healthcare, where she provides enterprise medical leadership across hospice and primary care with a focus on population health, care integration, and outcomes for patients with serious, complex illness. She partners closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and operational leaders to advance Bloom’s One Bloom care model and strengthen accountable, value-based care.

Dr. Hulen earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine Residency and Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship training at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, where she also served as Chief Resident. She is board certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr. Hulen has been deeply committed to caring for patients with advanced, life-limiting illness and supporting families through complex medical decisions. Her clinical and leadership work centers on aligning care with patient goals, improving quality of life, and building systems that support compassionate, high-quality care.
